Regaining the .500 mark at 2-2, Barker/Roy-Hart posted a 42-30 victory over Medina (1-4) in a Niagara-Orleans League wrestling match this evening at Middleport.
Albion also improved to 2-2 by downing host Wilson 45-33 while Newfane bested visiting Akron 39-31 in a clash between 4-0 teams.
Barker/Roy-Hart roared out to a 42-6 lead by taking eight of the first nine bouts on pins by Dan Wheeler (126) in 5:02, DJ Gardner (160) in 3:11, Joe Nolan (170) in 3:15 and Erik Herian (180) in 1:06 along with decision wins by Brent Bachman (120) and AJ Schafer (132) and a pair of forfeit wins.
Medina got pins by Nick Doberstein (145) in 1:50, Charles Beach (195) in :38 and Bobby Geiger (106) in 1:30. The Mustangs also got decision wins by Ryan Kruger (220) and Kalvin Packer (285).

Albion was sparked by five pins including falls by Tim Drake (182) in 1:07, Merlin Moyer (195) in 5:20, Jordan Wolcott (120) in 4:55, Blake Aina (138) in 3:00 and Israel Florentino (170) in :58. Aaron Burnside (145) also scored a decision win for the Purple Eagles.
Trailing 31-29 with just two bouts to go, Newfane rallied to defeat Akron and stay perfect at 5-0. A major decision win by Cyrus Simmons put Newfane on top 33-31 and Jake Kubala followed up with a lightning quick 18 second pin to lock up the Panthers victory.
