Despite winning five of the seven bouts that were decided on the mat, Lyndonville dropped a 47-32 decision to visiting Barker/Roy-hart this evening in a non league wrestling match as forfeits proved costly to the Tigers.

Lyndonville combined pins by Chase Stinson (113), in 3:43 over Aaron Miller, Jeff Gress Jr. (126), in 1:36 over Dan Wheeler, and Dustin Joy (145), in 1:25 over AJ Shaffer, with a technical fall victory by Dustin Hinkley (160), 17-1 over Eli Elton, and a decision win by Tom Follman (152), 12-6 over Ryan Ulrich, to build up a 15 point 32-17 advantage with five bouts to go.

However, the Tigers had to forfeit each of those last five bouts (170, 182, 195, 220 and 285) enabling Barker/Roy-Hart to rally for the 15 point victory.

Tyler Choate (138) had a pin for Barker/Roy-Hart, in 1:45 over Scott Smith, and Brent Bachman (132) a technical fall victory, 18-1 over Garren Bayne.
