Barker/RH has Lock City tourney champ
Barker/Roy-Hart’s Cameron Swick took top honors in the 160 pound weight class today at the Lockport Wrestling Tournament.
Swick pinned Owen Lawther of Fairport in 5:28 in the title bout.
Medina’s Charles Beach placed second at 220 dropping a narrow 3-1 decision to William Bolia of Fairport in the finals. Beach pinned Freddie Nixon of St. Joe’s in 1:40 in the semifinals.
Newfane’s Jake Kubala won the 182 lb. title nipping Zach Breeden of Grand Island 3-2 in the finals.
Barker/Roy-Hart also had Brent Bachman place second at 132 and Ryan Ulrich 4th at 145.
In the JV Tournmaent, Elijah Sones (170) and Ian Joseph (182) both placed third for Medina while Nick Fazzolari (195) placed first, Murphy Lang (128) second and Andrew Schafer (145) third for Barker/Roy-Hart.
