Barker wins field hockey make up contest

Scoring in every quarter, Barker downed Newfane 8-0 in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey make up game this afternoon.

Madelina Pavlock scored 3 goals and Jordyn Kinne 2 to lead the way for Barker as Madilyn Detschner, Macie May and Hailey Dodge each chipped in with 1.

Barker is now 4-1 and Newfane 1-4 in N-O action.

Medina blanked visiting Nardin 3-0 in a non league contest as Iyla Lilleby scored all three goals in the first half.

Wilson bested visiting Medina 25-21, 25-17, 25-20 in an N-O volleyball match this evening.

Lorelei Sanders and KiMani Poole each had 4 aces and Lexoni Russo 2 for Medina. Poole also had 3 kills.

Akron outlasted Roy-Hart in five sets 20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-25, 15-12.

For Roy-Hart, Grace Pearl had 10 kills and 17 digs, Lila Brigham 8 kills and 15 digs, Raegan Kern 7 aces, 5 kills and 7 digs, Elliana Brauen 19 digs and Ella Martillotta 22 assists and 4 aces.

In another N-O match Newfane outlasted Albion in 5 sets 27-25, 18-25, 23-25, 25-12, 15-7.
