Barker trio heads N-O All-League first team

Undefeated (12-0) champion Barker has placed three players on the first team of the annual Niagara-Orleans All-League softball squad.

Sophomore pitcher Peyton Bradley, who is a repeat first team honoree, heads Barker’s trio which also includes senior catcher Anna Bowerman and sophomore infielder Kaylee Stoll.

Albion is represented by junior catcher Cami London and Medina by senior infielder Iyla Lilleby, who are both repeat honorees.

Roy-Hart has placed junior infielder Kaitlin Mettler, who is a repeat selection, and sophomore outfielder Hayley Hillburn.

Akron is represented by the senior battery of pitcher Sloan Jonathan and catcher Ashlee Henning, a repeat honoree who has been selected as the N-O Player of the Year.

Wilson has placed senior infielder Rian Faery, a repeat honoree, and junior pitcher Riley Robinson.

Rounding out the first team is Newfane junior infielder Kameryn Boyer.

Barker has also placed a trio of players on the second team including senior outfielder Rachel Sutter, along with infielder/pitcher Madyson Flint and outfielder/pitcher Arnie Sturtevant who are both eighth graders.

Albion has placed senior infielder Janessa Lindsey and junior pitcher Alana Irvine and Medina senior infielder Lorelei Sanders.

Roy-Hart is represented by the sophomore battery of pitcher Abby Fox and catcher Peyton May.

Rounding out the second team are junior outfielder Aleena Adamczyk and sophomore catcher Abbie Faery from Wilson, freshman infielder Kylie Mangione from Akron and sophomore infielder Kim Schmitt from Newfane.
