Barker tops R-H in key field hockey game

Barker knocked Roy-Hart from the ranks of the unbeaten by a score of 3-1 this afternoon in a key Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game.

Goals by Lydia Dewart and Casey A’Hearn in the final four minutes locked up the win for Barker whose first goal was scored by Clara Gregoire.

Angelina Ciarfella scored the Roy-Hart goal.

Barker is now 3-1 and Roy-Hart 4-1.

Akron 5, Newfane 0
Defending champion Akron took over sole possession of first place at 4-0 by downing Newfane 5-0.

Heather Cummings scored two goals for the Lady Tigers as Hannah Cummings, Julia Diebel and Abby Enfield each added one.

Wilson 5, Kenmore 0
Wilson blanked Kenmore to even its record at 2-2 on two goals each by Olivia Mitchell and Maddie Mocarski and one by Erin Boyle.
