Barker tops Alexander in non league softball
Improving to 6-2, Barker defeated Alexander 8-2 in a non league softball game this afternoon.
Madyson Flint and Peyton Bradley combined to hurl a 3 hitter with 10 strikeouts.
Bradley, Flint, Elise Monaco and Aine Davis each had a pair of hits for the Lady Bulldogs.
Barker took the lead for good with 4 runs in the third inning capped off by RBI doubles by Flint and Bradley. The uprising also included singles by Monaco, Davis and Naomi Bish.
Byron-Bergen 14, Albion 5
Byron-Bergen downed host Albion 14-5 in a non league softball game this afternoon.
McKinley Knight had a two-run double and Leah Pawlak a triple for Albion which also got hits from Aaliyah Jones, Melia Prince and Aubrielle Barry.
