Barker swimmers split with Pembroke
Barker split with visiting Pembroke this evening in a season opening non league swim meet. The Raiders won the boys meet 91-79 but lost the girls meet 92-74.
The Barker boys were led by a trio of individual event double winners including Andrew Jenks (200 Individual Medley, 100 Butterfly), Collin Webb (50 Free, 100 Backstroke) and Adam Wagner (200 Free, 100 Free) as Alex Jenks added a win in the 500 Free.
Sara Gendrue doubled in the 50 Free and 100 Breaststroke and Natalie Bruning won the 100 Backstroke for the Barker girls.
The Raiders next host Alexander at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
