Barker, Roy-Hart, Wilson post N-O field hockey wins

Defending champion Barker nipped host Kenmore 1-0 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game.

Becky Stoloski scored the lone goal of the game for Barker at the 22 minute mark of the first half as Caitlyn Mason and Courtney Bodine shared in earning the shutout in the cage.

Barker is now 5-1-1 and Kenmore 0-7.

Roy-Hart rallied from a 1-0 half-time deficit to defeat Newfane 4-1.

Angelina Ciarfella scored two goals for Roy-Hart as Lexi Lovewell and Delaney Draper each netted one.

Teagan Volpe scored in the first half for Newfane.

Roy-Hart improves to 4-3 and Newfane slips to 2-5.

Wilson stayed deadlocked with Barker for second place at 5-1-1 by blanking visiting Medina 6-0.

Maddy Mocarski and Olivia Mitchell both scored two goals for Wilson as Rachael Cobo and Liz Soles each chipped in with one.

The loss drops Medina to 1-6.
