Lady Bulldogs down Medina to go to 11-0

Having already put a lock on the league title, Barker romped to a 17-0 win over Medina in a Niagara-Orleans softball game at Vets Park this afternoon.
The Lady Bulldogs took control early erupting for 8 runs in the second inning highlighted by a three-run home run by Arnie Sturtevant.
Barker later tacked on 7 runs in the sixth inning as Madyson Flint had a three-run homer and Madelina Pavlock a two-run homer.
Sturtevant and winning pitcher Peyton Bradley both finished with 3 hits, including a double, as Pavlock, Kaylee Stoll and Rachel Sutter each added 2.
In the circle, Bradley hurled a 1 hitter with 14 strikeouts.
Barker improves to 11-0 in N-O action as Medina finishes the league campaign at 2-10.
Akron 13, Newfane 1
Kylie Mangione, Madison Gates, Ashlee Henning and Shanna Thomas each had 2 hits and Sloan Jonathan pitched a 4 hitter with 5 strikeouts to lead Akron (4-6) to a 13-1 N-O win over Newfane (0-12).
Alexander 11, Kendall 2
Scoring two runs in the first, third and fifth innings and 5 more in the sixth, Alexander posted an 11-2 win over Kendall in a Genesee Region League game.
