Barker/R-H opens title defense with win
Barker/Lyndonville opened defense of its C North Division title by downing host Tonawanda 44-20 this evening.
Quarterback Max Townsend threw a pair of touchdown passes covering 19 yards to Ashton Ark and 12 yards to Carter DerSarkissian.
Townsend also had a 10 yard touchdown run, Aaron Bowerman a 52 yard TD carry and DerSarkissian a 35 yard punt return for a TD.
DerSarkissian also had a pair of two-point conversion carries and Billy Jaques a pair of extra point kicks.
Barker/Roy-Hart, which is now 1-1 overall, led 37-6 at the half.
The Bulls next visit Eden/North Collins next Friday evening at 7.
