Barker nips Kenmore in N-O field hockey
A late goal proved to be just enough to earn Barker a narrow 1-0 win over host Kenmore this evening as the Lady Raiders pull into a dead even tie with Akron for the Niagara-Orleans Field Hockey lead at 10-1.
Madison Gancasz scored the lone goal for Barker with just 3:15 remaining in the fourth quarter off an assist from Aaliyah Wheat.
Barker will next visit Newfane and Akron will travel to Kenmore on Thursday to close out the N-O season.
Wilson 3, Newfane 0
Gianna Marchetti scored two goals and Anna Meyers one to lead Wilson past rival Newfane 3-0.
Wilson finishes the N-O season at 3-9 and Newfane slips to 1-10.
