A goal in each half earned Barker/Lyndonville a 2-0 victory over Alexander in a non league girls soccer game this afternoon at Lyndonville.
A goal by Abby Alexander with only 19 seconds remaining in the first half proved to be the game winner.
Elysse Dillenbeck later added a big insurance tally with a penalty kick goal in the second half.
Barker/Lyndonville improves to 6-4.

Defending champion Akron blanked Newfane 8-0 today to improve to 5-0 in Niagara-Orleans League field hockey competition.
Madigan Regan had 3 goals and 2 assists to lead the way for Akron as Scarlett Ranney and Abigail Schlabach both had 2 goals and Mackenzie Tomporowski 1.
The loss drops Newfane to 2-3.
