Barker is getting new Athletic Director
Contributed Photo – Ryan Carberry will officially begin as the Barker Central School District’s Athletic Director on July 1. Carberry, left, is shown getting congratulations from current Athletic Director Dave Carson. This past school year Carberry taught physical and health education at Barker and coached the modified boys basketball team as well as JV softball. He is a graduate of Canisius College and is currently enrolled in the graduate program at Grace College studying Athletic Administration. He will take over from Carson who will continue to teach physical education at Barker, but is stepping down from the AD position to spend more time with his family. Carson served as Barker’s AD since July of 2006.
