Barker golfers down Albion
Barker bested Albion 243-274 in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match this afternoon to improve to 3-6-1.
Joel Harris took medalist honors for Barker with a 44 as Nathan Mazza-Ray added a 48 and Willard Nellist a 49.
Nick Newton shot a 46 for Albion which is now 1-8.
Front-running Akron improved to 9-0 by defeating Wilson 231-255 as Drew Romesser took medalist honors with a 41 and Jake Klodzinski added a 45.
Matt Carr shot 44 for Wilson which slips to 3-4-1.
Runner-up Newfane improved to 8-2 by downing Roy-Hart 228-255. Sam Capen took medalist honors with a 40 and Cade Littman had a 44 to lead the Panthers.
Carter Green shot 42 and McCarthy Lang 43 for Roy-Hart.
