Barker girls win; Lyndonville bows
A key 12-0 run sparked Barker to a 21-15 win over visiting Tonawanda in a non league girls basketball game this evening.
Anna Bowerman scored 6 and Cole Carnes, Rachel Sutter and Kiera Dalton 5 each to lead the way for Barker.
Elba 66, Lyndonville 33
Moving out to a 17-4 first quarter lead, Elba went on to down visiting Lyndonville 66-33 in a Genesee Region League girls basketball game this evening.
Sydney Reilly scored 21, Kennedy Augello 18 and Lydia Ross 11 to spark Elba which went on to lead by margins of 31-14 at the half and 48-27 after three quarters.
Lorelei Dillenbeck scored 15, Addison Dillenbeck 8, Ashlee Stephens 6 and Shelby Boring 4 for Lyndonville. Stephens also grabbed off 12 rebounds and Lorelei Dillenbeck 11.
Elba is now 2-0 in the league and 2-1 overall while Lyndonville is 0-2, 3-2.
