Barker girls will have tourney opener
Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Tournament action will open the season for the Barker girls varsity basketball team as the Bulldogs will face Holley in the opening round of the Kendall Tourney on November 30. The consolation and finals are slated for December 2. Anchoring the Bulldogs lineup will be this group of veterans. In front are Michayla Green, Rachel Sutter and Cole Carnes. In back are Addison Szafranski, Kiera Dalton and Lillia Peace. In all Barker will play six non league games before opening the Niagara-Orleans season at home against Akron on Dec. 19. Barker went 3-9 in the league and 5-15 overall last year.
