Barker girls to face Roy-Hart in opener

Anchored by a quintet of returnees, Barker will host Roy-Hart at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to open the Niagara-Orleans League girls soccer season.
Looking to rebound from last year’s 1-13 N-O record, the Lady Raiders are led by seniors Abby Bachman, Taylor Morris, Bree Luckman, Serena Flint and junior Mallory Gross.
Barker is also counting on seniors Maya Gooding, Eadie Fuerch and Samantha Utley along with junior goalie Kylie Miller.
“We’re excited about the season,” said Coach Brooke Beatty. “We have a lot of returnees and our numbers are up.”
