Barker girls post win over Medina

Putting an end to a four game losing streak, Barker bested host Medina 44-21 this evening in a Niagara-Orleans League girls basketball game.

Sydnie Luckman poured in a game high 27 points and Chloe Lee added 7 to set the pace for Barker which led 15-9 at the half and 34-15 at the three-quarter mark.

Faithann Vanderwalker had 10, Anya Bloom 6 and Lily Carpenter 5 for Medina.

Newfane 35, Albion 22

Building up a 22-9 half-time advantage, Newfane went on to defeat visiting Albion 35-22 as Rachel Chunco and Hannah Hambruch each scored 10.

Wilson 58, Roy-Hart 43

Grabbing leads of 17-6 after one quarter and 31-16 at the half, defending champion Wilson went on to defeat visiting Roy-Hart 58-43 to stay unbeaten at 6-0.

Julia Faery scored 16, Isabella Lemke and Kenzie Beyer 10 each and Meg Musall 9 to pace Wilson.

Shelby Wolf took game high honors for Roy-Hart with 22 as Mya Glena added 6 and Ava Owens and Claire Halstead 4 each.
