Barker girls post win over Holley

Building up a 23-11 half-time advantage, Barker went on to defeat host Holley 49-30 this evening in a non league girls basketball game.

Gabby Baker scored 14, Sydnie Luckman 10, Kylie Annable 8 and Serena Harris 7 to lead the way for Barker which improves to 2-0.

Abigail Williams led Holley with 9.

Notre Dame 38, Albion 27
Breaking away from an 8-8 deadlock, Notre Dame outscored host Albion 8-0 in the second quarter to key a 38-27 non league win.

Stevie Wilcox scored 10 and Callie McCulley 9 to lead Notre Dame.

Caitlynn Snook and Janae Doty each scored 6 for Albion.

Boys Basketball
Oakfield-Alabama 69, Roy-Hart 56
Tyler Ohlson scored 28 and Ryan Douglas 18 to lead Oakfield-Alabama to a 69-56 non league win over visiting Roy-Hart.

Jake Bruning scored 28, Noah Kindron 9 and Charlie Bruning 7 for Roy-Hart. Jake and Charlie Bruning also both grabbed off 10 rebounds.

Trailing 21-20 after one period, Oakfield-Alabama rallied into leads of 34-30 at the half and 49-43 at the three-quarter mark.
