Barker eyes rebound diamond season

Looking to rebound from last year’s 0-12 league campaign, Barker is prepping for the Niagara-Orleans baseball season led by a group of nine veterans.
That group includes Ireland Brady (Infield), JJ Prynn (Outfield/Pitcher), Owen Harris (Outfield/Infield), Tristen Garcia (Infield), Logan Flint (Infield), Isaac Monaco (Infield), Mike Kalynycz (Outfield), Noah Sandolfini (Outfield) and Alex Ark (Outfield). All are seniors except Prynn who is a junior and Flint who is a sophomore.
“We have high expectations,” said Coach Jesse Watts. “We have a new field, good energy, a lot of seniors and a large JV team.”
The Bulldogs will begin tuning up for the N-O season by hosting Lyndonville at 11 a.m. Saturday and Kendall at 4:30 p.m. next Monday. The Bulldogs league opener is scheduled for April 8 at Akron.
