Barker bows in non league field hockey game
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Two goals in the first six minutes sparked Nichols to a 3-1 win over Barker in a non league field hockey game this afternoon at Barker. Barker did cut the deficit to 2-1 on a goal by Sophia Pavlock but the Lady Bulldogs could not pull even. Here Pavlock brings the ball up the sideline against Brynn Griffin of Nichols.
Barker’s Lexi Brazzel works to keep the ball away from Alyssa Starkey of Nichols. Barker returns to Niagara-Orleans League action on Tuesday with a game at Roy-Hart at 4:30 p.m.
