Barker boys score two N-O cross-country wins
Barker swept to a doubleheader victory this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League boys cross-country make up meet.
Finishing the regular season at 5-1, Barker defeated Albion 19-40 and Akron 20-43. Akron gained a split on the day by downing Albion 19-40.
Akron’s Will Chubb won the race with Barker’s Mason Allee Castro second and Albion’s Reuben Rivers third.
In the girls meet, Akron defeated Barker 22-35 and Albion 21-40 to finish the regular season at 4-2. Barker downed Albion 21-37 in the other portion of the meet.
Akron’s Lauren Wagner finished first, Barker’s Mikala Woock second and Akron’s Kaila Scczygielski third.
Boys Standings: Newfane 6-0, Barker 5-1, Medina 3-3, Roy-Hart 3-3. Akron 2-4, Wilson 2-4, Albion 0-6.
Girls Standings: Newfane 6-0, Wilson 5-1, Akron 4-2, Barker 3-3, Medina 2-4, Albion 1-5, Roy-Hart 0-6.
