Top seeded Niagara-Orleans League champion Barker and No. 2 Roy-Hart both scored home field shutout victories this afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Section VI Class C field hockey playoffs.

Barker blanked N-O foe No. 8 Newfane 5-0 and Roy-Hart bested No. 7 Holland 4-0.

In another quarterfinal, No. 4 Akron trimmed N-O rival No. 5 Medina 2-1 at Vets Park.

Barker 5, Newfane 0
A quick goal in the first two minutes by Katrina Clare ignited Barker to the win over Newfane.

The Lady Raiders opened up a 3-0 lead by half-time on another goal by Clare and one by Emily Wagner.

Clare completed her three goal hat-trick in the second half as Miya Goodale netted the Lady Raiders other goal.

Barker downed Newfane twice during the N-O season but had to go into overtime to win the second meeting.

Roy-Hart 4, Holland 0
Roy-Hart jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Lexie Lovewell and McKenzie Rothwell.

Ashley Hill then netted a pair of second half goals to put a lock on the Lady Rams victory.

Akron 2, Medina 1
Breaking away from a 0-0 deadlock, Akron scored twice in the first 10 minutes to the second half on goals by Madison Brege and Alexis Bell to key the narrow win over Medina.

Medina did make the finish interesting as Lacey Kenward scored with 9:36 still to play but the Mustangs could not net the equalizer.

Akron and Medina split a pair of regular season N-O League meetings.
