Banes scores narrow win to stay unbeaten
Banes Machine Shop/Banes Plumbing trimmed Tower Tattoo 7-6 Monday evening to improve to 6-0 in Medina Women’s Softball League competition.
Banes jumped out to quick first inning lead on a double by Sue Seefeldt and singles by Jen Masse, Kathy Allen and Amy Allis.
Masse later had a triple and Seefeldt a double to highlight a three run fifth inning which put Banes up 7-4 as Connie Heschke and Allis both had singles.
Seefeldt and Allis both finished with 3 hits as Grace Masse and Jen Masse both had 2.
Banes next faces White Birch in a doubleheader on July 8 at Jr. Wilson.
