Banes rolls to 4th straight win

Scoring in every inning, Banes Machine Shop/Banes Plumbing rolled to a 14-7 win over Just Us Monday to improve to 4-0 in the Medina Women’s Softball ‘A’ League.Banes erupted for 6 runs in the second inning as Alisha Foss, Danielle Erway, Sarah Surdel, Jen Masse, Robin Blaun and Kathy Allen all had singles.
Banes later put a lock on the win by scoring 4 times in the fifth frame on a triple by Blaun and singles by Erway, Donna Bane, Connie Heschke and Kathy Allen.
Allen had a total of 4 hits as Blaun, Foss and Erway each had 3 and Heschke 2. Foss’ hits included a pair of doubles.
