Banes rallies late to nip Orleans Vets
A seventh inning rally earned Banes Machine Shop/Banes Plumbing a narrow 6-5 victory over Orleans Vets this evening in a Medina Women’s Softball League game.
Singles by Jami Chatt, Kathy Allen, Jackie Davis, Patti Page and Donna Bane combined to plate three runs in the seventh to earn Banes the win.
Banes also scored twice in the first on a triple by Connie Heschke, a sacrifice by Sue Seefeldt and singles by Jen Masse and Allen, and once in the second on singles by Amy Allis, Jessica Carpenter, Page and Alisha Foss.
Vets tallied once in the first and 4 times in the fifth on a triple by Heather Tower and singles by Bridget Tower, Randi Scholes and Jen Hughes.
