Banes, Meadworks score softball wins

Banes and 810 Meadworks/Hemp House both scored wins over NYSCOPBA in Medina Women’s Softball League action Monday evening.

Banes topped NYSCOPBA 16-12 rallying from an early 9-3 deficit.

A four run third inning on singles by Connie Heschke and Sue Seefeldt, doubles by Lindsey Chatt and Kathy Allen and a home run by Jami Chatt ignited that rally. Banes then pulled ahead with 6 runs in the fourth on singles by Heschke and Rileigh McCabe, doubles by Seefeldt, Lindsey Chatt and Jami Chatt and a home run by Morgan Allis.

810 Meadworks/Hemp House won a big offensive game vs NYSCOPBA 26-5.

Kelsey Schmitt lead the pack with 3 home runs in the game. Nicci Nicholson, Jen Merle, Halle Deuil, Cathy Schmitt all contributed with some big hits. 810 Meadworks/Hemp House played a solid defensive game throughout the night.
