Barker, R-H, Akron romp in N-O field hockey
Defending champion Barker blanked Wilson 9-0, Roy-Hart shutout Newfane 8-0 and Akron blanked Medina 6-0 in Niagara-Orleans League field hockey action this afternoon.
Lena Fazzolari, Natalie Bruning and Madison Gancasz each scored two goals to lead the way for Barker as Mia Herman, Addison Szafranski and Ella Gooding each chipped in with one.
Lexiss Diel scored four goals to pace Roy-Hart as Cheyenne Stilwell had two and Claire Halstead and Rebecca Berner one each.
Lacey Berghorn scored three goals, Olivia McClaine two and Madison Brege one for Akron.
Barker and Roy-Hart are now 2-0, Akron and Kenmore 1-0 and Medina, Newfane and Wilson 0-2.
