B-B and Holley score G-R volleyball wins
Byron-Bergen defeated Wheatland-Chili 25-21, 25-8, 25-22 and Holley downed Elba 25-15, 25-22, 25-17 in Genesee Region League volleyball action this evening.
Improving to 9-1, Byron-Bergen was led by Lexi Vurraro with 16 assists, 8 aces and 3 digs; Jorie Strzelecki 7 kills, 8 digs and 4 aces; Julia Pangrazio 6 kills, 5 digs and 3 aces and Grace Huhn had 6 kills, 6 digs and 2 aces.
Holley improves to 4-5.
The Kendall at Lyndonville match was postponed as the Lyndonville team is on a Covid-19 related pause. The pause will also cancel the Lady Tigers other three scheduled matches this week including vs. Byron-Bergen on Wednesday, Attica on Friday and Holley on Saturday.
