Avoca-Prattsburgh girls nip Lyndonville
Avoca-Prattsburgh rallied in the final period to nip host Lyndonville 43-41 in a non league girls basketball game this afternoon.
Trailing 32-30, Avoca-Prattsburgh rallied to outscore Lyndonville 13-9 in the decisive final period to claim the narrow win as Kamryn Edwards scored 8 of her game high 18 points during that stretch.
Addision Dillenbeck scored 17 to lead Lyndonville as Bella Groves and Alexa Robinson both added 7, Jocelyn Mack 7 and Lilly Raduns, Ashlee Stephens and Hannah Fox 2 each.
Dillenbeck scored 10 in the opening period to help spark Lyndonville out to a 16-10 lead.
The Lady Tigers went on to hold slender leads of 22-18 at the half and 32-30 after three quarters.
