Autumn starts today with a chance of showers

Summer is officially over with today the first day of autumn. Winter starts on Dec. 21.
Today it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 75 in Orleans County. The National Weather Service in Buffalo says there is a chance of showers before 1 p.m., and then showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., with a chance for more showers after 2 p.m.
Tuesday it will be sunny with a high near 67. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 76, according to the Weather Service.
Thursday will be partly sunny with a high near 70, while Friday is mostly sunny with a high near 74.
