Attica spikers down Lyndonville

Improving to 4-2, Attica posted a 25-10, 25-20, 25-18 victory over host Lyndonville this evening in a Genesee Region League volleyball match.

Back-to-back service runs of seven straight points (7-13) and five points (15-19) sparked Attica to the 25-10 win in the opening set.

Battling back, Lyndonville grabbed a 10-7 lead midway through the second set after back-to-back service aces by Kennedy Clark.

The Lady Tigers upped the advantage to 20-16 after a three point run of service points by Jenna Doran.

However, Attica answered back with a big run of eight straight service points, including three aces, to rally into a 25-20 win and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the match.

Attica then closed out the match as bursts of six straight service points (3-8) and five in a row (17-21) keyed a 25-18 win in the third set.

Clark had 2 aces and 1 kill, Skyler Lear 2 aces, Jessica Harling 1 kill and 1 ace and Savannah Tackley 1 kill for Lyndonville, which is now 2-5 in league action.
