Unable to build on a first quarter lead, Holley dropped a 71-45 decision to visiting Attica this evening in a Genesee Region League contest.

Getting 7 points from Patrick Bower, 3 from Isaiah Flow and 2 each from Derek McArthur, Andrew Moseman and Dylan Hillabush, Holley jumped out to a 16-11 first quarter lead.

However, Attica countered with a 20-7 second period scoring surge to move into a 31-23 advantage at the half. Owen Thompson scored 7 and Mike Donahue 6 to lead that Blue Devils rally.

Keeping the momentum, Attica went on to outpoint Holley 21-14 in the third period to extend the advantage to 15, 52-37, at the three-quarter mark. Thompson led that surge with 9 as Dawson Nelson added 4 and Donahue and Tyler Meyer 3 each.

Thompson finished with a game high 29 , Nelson 12, Meyer 10 and Donahue 9 as the Blue Devils improve to 12-6.

Hillabush had 13 and Moseman 11 for the Hawks as Bower had 9, McArthur 4, Flow 3, Ryan Andrews and Nate Towne 2 and Nick Schutz 1.
