Orleans County and Western New York are near peak with fall foliage colors, according to I Love NY’s weekly foliage report.

I Love NY gives a report every Thursday in the fall about the foliage. The report says Orleans County is reaching peak colors “with bright and brilliant reds, yellows and oranges.”

The green canal bridge on Butts Road in Albion stands out among a group of trees, where leaves have changed to red and yellow.

The leaves have changed to red and only a few have fallen along the towpath in Albion.

This spot is next to the Brown Street canal bridge in Albion.

The weekly fall foliage report shows how the leaf colors are changing throughout the state.
