AnJo U8 Bombers win Grand Island Classic

The AnJo 8U Bombers recently won the gold championship in the Grand Island Viking Classic edging the Hamburg Dawgs 6-4 in the title contest.
Playing 6 games over the busy weekend the Bombers hitting was led by Drew Walker (17 of 20), Brandon Clarke (11 of 14), Brayden Seitz (14 of 19), and Brendon Sheldon (13 of 18).
In the final nail biting championship game against the Hamburg Dawgs several big defensive plays secured the win. Second baseman Jeter Serrano was credited with seven outs and catcher Parker Karaszewski came away with the game saving catch.
