AnJo Bombers win Battle at the Falls Tourney

The Lockport AnJo Bombers 12U team won the Battle At The Falls Tournament hosted by Pitch and Hit this past weekend.
By winning the tournament, the team won a bid to the USABL World Series.
Entering Championship Sunday, the Bombers were the #1 seed after pool play wins against Diamond Pro Baseball of Rochester, Lancaster Dragons and the Buffalo Wings.
On Sunday, the Bombers defeated Diamond Pro Green in the Semi Finals and Diamond Pro Orange 11-4 in the Championship game.
The Bombers pitching staff gave up a total of only 8 runs for the five gamers of the tournament.
