AnJo Bombers top Black Sox

The AnJo Bombers 13U beat the Lancaster Black Sox 10-4 on Wednesday at their Roy-Hart home field in six innings.

The Bombers scored 5 runs in the fifth inning to lock up the win on two errors, an RBI single by Rylend Callicutt, a steal of home by Hunter Babel, and a wild pitch.

Earlier, the Bombers scored 4 times in the third on a groundout and 2 singles.

Frank Pellicano had a two-run single for the Bombers and Colin Fragale was perfect at the plate scoring twice on two singles and a walk.

On the mound for the Bombers, Tom Furmanski struck out 11 and allowed no earned runs on 3 hits and 4 walks over six innings.

The Bombers next face Nickel City in WNY Boys of Summer action 6:15 this evening at Outwater Park in Lockport.
