AnJo Bombers romp past Nighthawks

Banging out 14 hits, the AnJo Bombers 16U romped to a 19-7 win over the NT Nighthawks Wednesday.

The Bombers opened up an early lead in the first inning when Mike DiCureia singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

In the top of the second inning, NT Nighthawks tied things up at three.

AnJo Bombers 16U took the lead for good with ten runs in the third inning.

A three-run double by Cade Littman highlighted that uprising which also included RBI hits by Rylend Callicutt, Bryce Seddon, Colin Fragale and Reed Albee.

Rylend Callicutt was on the mound for Bombers. He surrendered six runs on two hits over two innings, striking out five. Reed Albee and Zeke Callicutt were strong in relief.

Albee, Callicutt, Sedon, Littman, and AJ Seefeldt each racked up multiple hits for the Bombers.  Albee went 3-for-4 at the plate.

The Bombers also stole eight bases as two players stole more than one. Sedon led the way with three.

The Bombers are in Ocean City, Maryland for a tournament this weekend.
