AnJo Bombers rally to score two wins

The AnJo Bombers U14 team rallied in the late innings for a pair of wins this week downing the Wyoming County Renegades 13-4 and New Era 10-9.

Trailing 4-3, the Bombers took the lead for good against the Renegades in the fifth inning as AJ Seefeldt hit a three-run single.

The Renegades had taken a brief lead by scoring 4 times in the fourth frame.

In all the Bombers banged out a total of 12 hits as Seefeldt, Hunter Babel and Joe Watson each had multiple hits. Seefeldt and Watson each drove in 3 runs. Andrew Gault also had a long double.

Watson, Seefeldt and Gault shared the pitching duties combining for 11 strikeouts.  Gault fanned 3 to close out the seventh.

The Bombers had 14 hits in the narrow win over New Era including 2 each by Cade Littman and Thomas Furmanski.  Carson Tatro and Furmanski each scored 3 times and Littman drove in 2.

On the mound, Furmanski and Tatro combined for 13 strikeouts.
