AnJo bats quiet in loss to Buffalo Braves

The AnJo Bombers 14U fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-1 loss to Buffalo Braves on Saturday.

The Braves, which had a total of 12 hits, captured the lead with a run in the second inning and later scored three runs in the sixth inning highlighted by a triple.

Colin Fragale went 3 for 3 at the plate for the Bombers including a standup double that was laced to the centerfield fence. Jon Gillings went 1-for-2 at the plate and drove in the lone run. AJ Seefeldt also smoked a doubled to the left field fence.

Tom Furmanski pitched a perfect sixth fanning two to close out the game for the Bombers.
