Amherst stickmen defeat Medina
Jumping out to a 4-1 first quarter lead, Amherst went on to defeat visiting Medina 10-6 this afternoon in a Class C Division lacrosse game.
Amherst went on to lead by margins of 6-3 at the half and 8-4 after three quarters.
Jake Cotter scored 4 goals for Medina as Tyler Valley and Brendan Luthart each netted one. Aaron Feltz chipped in with a pair of assists.
Now at 2-1 in the division and 3-1 overall, Medina next hosts Gowanda at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
