Amherst downs Medina U19 booters

Building up a 5-2 half-time advantage, Amherst went on to defeat a short handed Medina squad 8-3 this afternoon in a Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League boys U19 Division game.
Barry Rogenmoser and Max Owens scored goals for Medina in the first half while Cooper Hardiman had the lone second half tally.
Medina, which played with only 8 players, slips to 1-7-1.
