Amber alert issued for baby abducted in Montour Falls
Many Orleans County residents received an Amber alert this afternoon after a 15-day-old baby from Montour Falls was allegedly abducted by her mother, Katrina Harter, 31.
Gionna Harter is identified as black, 18 inches tall and having brown eyes. Police say she was taken from an address on Rock Cabin Road in Moutour Falls around 5 a.m. today.
Katrina is a homeless black woman with curly black hair and brown eyes. She stands at 5’3″ and weighs 332 lbs. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and traveling south on North Exchange Street in Geneva.
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Anyone with information can call 911 or 1-866-697-2623.
