All-WNY soccer honors for local duo

Photos by Cheryl Wertman – All-Western New York soccer honorees Nate Dillenbeck from Medina/Lyndonville and Aidan Bligh from Roy-Hart.

Two Niagara-Orleans League players, Nate Dillenbeck from Medina/Lyndonville and Aidan Bligh from Roy-Hart have been named to the first team of the All-Western New York small schools soccer squad.

Dillenbeck, a junior, scored 19 goals and added 8 assists in helping to lead the Mustangs to the N-O championship.

Bligh, who is also a junior, scored 12 goals and added 9 assists for the Rams, which finished in the runner-up spot.

Both players were first team N-O All-League honorees.

All-WNY Cross-Country
Akron sophomore Lauren Wagner has been named to the first team of the All-WNY girls cross-country team. She won both the N-O All-League and Section VI Class C races.

Roy-Hart senior Anna Rickard and Newfane eighth grader Kylie Bowman were both Honorable Mention selections.

All-WNY Volleyball
Wilson senior Isabel Dinse has been named to the first team of the All-WNY small schools volleyball team.

Akron sophomore Ella Hill was named to the second team and Wilson junior Madelyn Seeley received Honorable Mention.

Akron and Wilson shared the N-O title.
