All State softball honors for local duo
Two local players, Lyndonville third baseman Ella Lewis and Roy-Hart pitcher Reanna Perkins, both seniors, have earned All-State softball honors.
Lewis has been named to the Class C fourth team and Perkins to the Class B third team.
Lewis, who helped Lyndonville capture a Genesee Region League title with a 14-0 record, has also earned All-Greater Rochester honors.
Perkins, who hurled Roy-Hart to a 12-0 Niagara-Orleans League title season, has also received All-Western New York honors.
In the circle, Perkins registered 165 strikeouts and had an earned run average of 1.826. At the plate she hit .500 with 6 doubles, 3 triples, 10 home runs and 32 RBIs.
Lewis hit .424 with 6 doubles, 7 triples, 2 home runs, 36 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.
