All-State football honors for Orleans players

Two Orleans County players, Albion senior linemen Cody Wilson and Holley senior linebacker/quarterback Jacob Norman, have earned first team All-State football honors.
Wilson has been named to the Class B first team and Norman to the Eight Man Division first team.
A finalist for the WNY Trench award which honors the top Western New York two-way lineman, Wilson helped lead Albion to the B3 Division title and a berth in the Section VI Class B finals.
Norman made 67 tackles and had 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery for the Hawks.
Albion senior runningback/linebacker Tyray White was named to the Class B fourth team.
Medina junior defensive back/wide receiver Brian Fry was named to the Class B fifth team while Newfane senior running back/linebacker Jaden Heers was selected to the Class B second team.
Wilson has placed four players on the Class C squad led by senior defensive lineman Declan Faery a first team selection. Senior quarterback Bobby Atlas, senior running back Drew Westmoreland and senior kicker Thomas Baia all received Honorable Mention.
Akron sophomore Aiden Smith also received Class C Honorable Mention.
The All-State Eight Man squad has named Oakfield-Alabama/Elba quarterback Colton Dillon Player of the Year.
OAE also has senior linemen Peyton Yasses and Dylan Rykert earn first team honors.
The All-State Class B,C, D and Eight Man teams were announced today.
