All Conference diamond honors for local trio

A trio of local players on this spring’s SUNY Niagara baseball and softball squads have earned All-League honors.
Roy-Hart graduate Gavyn Boyle, a freshman outfielder on the Thunderwolves squad, has been named to the first team of the All Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC) baseball squad. He hit .395 on the season with 14 doubles, 2 triples, 8 home runs and 57 RBI.
Medina grad Aidan Paul, a freshman pitcher for the Thunderwolves, was named to the All WNYAC second team. He went 5-1 on the mound and also had 2 saves. He registered 59 strikeouts and had a 2.27 earned run average.
Medina High grad Rylee VanNostrand, a freshman infielder for the Thunderwolves, was named to the All WNYAC softball squad second team. She hit .286 on the season with 1 double and 4 RBIs.
