Alexander spikers down Kendall
Improving to 7-1, Alexander defeated Kendall 25-19, 25-23, 25-16 in a Genesee Region League volleyball match this evening.
Kendall, which is now 3-3, had Lauren Pilon with 12 digs, 4 aces and 2 kills and Taigan Guerrero with 8 digs.
In a key G-R contest Byron-Bergen outlasted Notre Dame in five sets 24-26, 25-7, 24-26, 27-25, 25-15 to improve to 6-1.
Byron-Bergen was led by Julia Pangrazio with 13 kills and 21 digs, Lexi Vurraro 41 assists, Jorie Strzelecki 9 kills and 15 digs, Madelynn Pimm 34 service points, including 7 aces to go along with her 6 kills and Grace Huhn 20 service points, including 4 aces and 6 kills getting the team back in the 4th set.
In another G-R match, Pembroke outlasted Elba 25-12, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18.
Lucy Coniber had 15 aces, Kasey Perry 5 kills and 3 blocks and Jackie Neureuter 18 assists for Pembroke.
Elba was led by Carolyn Sybertz with 8 aces and Leah Bezon with 7 aces.
