Alexander netters down Kendall
Front-running Alexander defeated visiting Kendall 5-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League tennis match.
The victory boosts Alexander’s G-R record to 3-0 while Kendall is at 2-1.
In the singles matches for Alexander, Zack Shilzock defeated Devin Appleton 6-4, 6-0; Zack Laird downed Riley Iqbal 6-1, 6-0 and Nick Yaeger bested Anthony Washington 6-0, 6-1.
The doubles matches for the Trojans saw Zach Dunbar and Nikki Breton defeat Mike Nundy and Alyssa Hering 6-3, 7-6 and Deven Blowers and Joe Yaeger down Colin Lewis and Tessa Vick 6-2, 6-3.
Postponements
Wet grounds forced the postponement of the Medina at Albion, Barker at CSAT and Lyndonville at Oakfield-Alabama softball games as well as the CSAT at Albion baseball game.
